Quit&Win 2006
Many of you have asked about the arrangements and preparation for Quit&Win 2006. We have to inform you that at this moment we do not have the necessary funds to coordinate International Quit&Win 2006 - in spite of our many efforts. We have discussed with WHO and tried to get money from some EU funds. Also, our previous discussions with pharmaceutical companies show little practical interest in contributing to the International coordination of Quit&Win. KTL in Finland would be prepared to continue the coordination and to contribute some funds, but that alone is not enough for a proper campaign. Thus we have to inform you that there is real possibility that there will not be an International Quit&Win 2006. If you have any suggestions about the situation, we would be happy to receive them.
