Implementation

2–29 May 2004

The organizers shall distribute the entry forms to the potential participants using various channels. Publishing the rules and entry forms in local magazines and/or newspapers can be a cost-effective way of delivering information.

Local promotional activities should be adopted to increase participation in the contest.

The country organizers should establish cooperation between different organizations and agencies for effective implementation of the contest. The countries should seek for effective mass media support for the contest.

An international logo, poster and other promotional materials as well as a ”Quit&Win 2004 Handbook” will be produced for the campaign by the International Quit&Win Coordinating Centre.

National/local resources shall cover local costs of the campaign. Bilateral cooperation between countries in covering e.g. printing expenses and the prizes should be considered.
