Prizes

a) National

Each country arranges its own prizes, with emphasis on the main prize. The national draw will take place among eligible registrants. Possible winners will be contacted immediately at the end of the contest period. The abstinence must be inquired from the registrant, and from the given witness, if necessary. For validating the reported complete abstinence among major prizewinners, a biochemical test (urine cotinine, breath CO etc.) should be applied.

b) International

The international "super prize" winner will be drawn among the national main prizewinners (= one per country). The draw will take place centrally in one location. The minimum entry criteria of countries for the "super prize draw" will be 100 registrants. To compensate for the population size differences between the countries leading to a different probability to win, the following procedure will be used: the countries get tickets for the draw according to the number of registrants, one ticket per beginning one thousand. Thus, a country with 100 to 999 registrants would get one ticket, with 1000 to 1999 two tickets, with 2000 to 2999 three tickets etc.
